Calendar Poster2

The 4Gs 2019 calendar raises money for the Grandmothers to Grandmothers Campaign of the Stephen Lewis Foundation which funds community-based projects in 15 sub-Saharan African countries. This calendar features photos captured by John Phelps and highlights intriguing Guelph statues and various interesting sites around the city.  The calendar pairs these images with 4Gs signature African vests or distinctive African fabric.  This is a visual celebration of the meaningful connection between the Guelph grandmothers, their home city and the African grandmothers who garner our admiration and respect.

The 2019 calendar also provided the 4Gs with the opportunity to collaborate
with students in the photography class of GCVI.  Two of them, Maya James and
Anastasia Blondin are featured and include the statue of Johnny Barnes who resides on the grounds of the school.  This joint effort was enjoyable and a valuable experience for us all.
